The Scholarship Committee is responsible for establishing, maintaining, recruiting, and managing Scholarships for graduating seniors of Fairmont Heights High School (FHHS).
We meet via ZOOM on the 1st Monday of each month and report to the Fairmont Heights High School Alumni Association Executive Committee and the General Alumni body at the Monthly Meetings held at the Cedar Heights Community Center.

JOHN J. WILLIAMS HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP
The John J. Williams (JJW) High School Scholarship formerly known as the Traditional Scholarship is awarded to an eligible graduating senior who attends Fairmont Heights High School. The FHHSAA is seeking students who have a desire to pursue post education training in Information Technology, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics at an accredited college, university, or community college. The number of scholarships awarded is based on donations from alumni, friends, corporate sponsors, and the community.
The JJW High School Scholarship provides up to $3,000 in funding to a graduating FHHS senior who has earned a cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Students who have been accepted at an accredited college, university, or community college within the United States or U.S. territories are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP
A Legacy Scholarship will be awarded to three winners, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, of the Video Competition, in the amount of $2,000, $1,500, and $1,000. Each awardee must be an eligible graduating senior who attends Fairmont Heights High School. All eligible seniors who are interested in pursuing enrollment in an accredited certificate training program, an associate, or bachelor’s degree program may apply.
The Legacy Scholarship provides funds to graduating FHHS seniors who have earned and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA but not more than 2.99 GPA. Students must be accepted into a trade school in a skilled trade training program (i.e., electrical technology, commercial truck driving, auto mechanical, welding technology, medical or dental assisting, cosmetology, massage therapy, HVAC technology, culinary arts, etc.) or an accredited college, within the United States or U.S. Territories.
