The Athletic Hall of Fame is an opportunity to recognize, support, and celebrate Hornets forever.  The Fairmont Heights High School Alumni Association (FHHSAA) Hall of Fame will honor, celebrate, preserve, and promote the accomplishments of students who have participated in interscholastic sports and student activities at Fairmont Heights High School (FHHS).

Many individuals, coaches, administrators, and supporters have made extraordinary contributions at FHHS and have had significant accomplishments in high school sports and student activities over the years. The FHHSAA Hall of Fame honors the contributions and accomplishments of those individuals who have already graduated from FHHS and are worthy of recognition in their respective fields of endeavor. This recognition will take place at an Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

The sports that will be recognized are: Track and Field, Baseball, Wrestling, Soccer, Basketball, Football, Swimming, Tennis, Golf, Volleyball, Softball, Cheerleaders, Flag, PomPom, Dance, etc.

To be considered for the Hall of Fame induction, nominees must have:

  • Graduated from FHHS at least 10 years prior to induction;
  • Played a varsity sport for at least two years;
  • Achieved All Conference, All Metropolitan, All Region, All State status;
  • At least 5 years must have passed since any coach, administrator, or teacher worked at FHHS;
  • Team, Legacy, and other special types of nomination are considered;
  • Self nomination is not permitted.

How to Nominate:

Selection Process:

  • A panel of judges will review each Nomination Form to ensure that the criteria is met.
  • Individuals and/or teams with County/State/Regional/National Championships or records may receive additional consideration.
  • Special consideration may be given to an individual who graduated at least 50 years ago in the Legacy category.
  • Inductees will be notified by March 15, 2024, of their final selection.
